Summer Activities
- Hike around the marvellous Hintersteiner Lake, explore 110 km of mared hiking trails (optionally on a guided tour)
- Test yourself in mountain or rock climbing (tour tips of the Scheffau mountain rescue team) at the Wilder Kaiser mountain range or in Nordic Walking (incl. guided tours)
- Mountain Biking: We can provide you with tips for dream routes directly from our door steps, e.g.,
- Ride a bicycle on nice trails in the valley
- Tank some sun on your balcony or in our garden
- Swim in marvellous mountain lakes
- Play golf (27 hole and 9 hole ranges within approx. 4 km)
- Play Tennis at the Waldhof (0,5 km)
- Outdoor Action: Canyoning, River Rafting, White Water Rafting, Tandem Para Giling, Parashooting, Hot Air Balloon Rides, High Ropes Course, Climbing, Horse Trecking (all outdoor activities can be booked directly with us - we also organize group trips on a regular basis!!!)
- Horse Riding and Western Riding at the Ralserhof (0,5 km)
- Bungy jumping (192m Jump in Innsbruck/Europabrücke!)
- Take tours with your motorbike or convertible, e.g.,
- Experience the Kneipp®-Experience Spa Facilities around Scheffau
- Visit Bio and Farmer Markets
- Summer Toboggan in St. Johann (approx. 10 km)
Winter Activities
- Skiing, Snowboarding (250 km of runs in the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser - just a 3 minute walk to the gondola! More than 430 km of runs with the Kitzbühel Alps Skipass!) - Ski season from beginning of December until beginning or mid of April. Modern snow making systems and excellent slope preparation guarantee excellent snow conditions from mid December until early April.
If even our huge ski area "Skiwelt" is not enough for you, you may purchase the Kitzbüheler Alpenskipass, which offers 430 km of downhill slopes. You may connect from our front door all the way on skis (!!) via Brixen, Westendorf, Kitzbühel, Jochberg and Pass Thurn to Mittersill (Salzburger Land), which is 52 km away from us by car.
- Cross-Country Skiing
- Toboggan (we organize a weekly night toboggan trip including dinner in a mountain restaurant in the winter)
- Visit the Husky Day in Söll
- Snow Tubing in Ellmau (4 km)
- Winter hiking on marked winter paths or snow shoe hiking
- Enjoy Après Ski, Nightlife and many many Alpine Huts!
Activities in any season
- Meet new friends at the Romeo Bar, relax with a glass of wine, a beer or a cup of coffee and enjoy a snack from our menu
- Enjoy our sauna, wellness and fitness area with dry sauna, steam room, gymn equipment, relaxation chairs, a video lounge and a relaxation cabin. On certain days of the week, the sauna area is also open to gays visiting from outside.
- Take a day trip to Munich to visit its livelely gay community (approx. 60 minutes) or to Innsbruck (approx. 45 minutes) or Salzburg (approx. 60 minutes)
- Ride the gondola, enjoy the beautiful landscape and the sun
- Paragliding (incl. Tandem-Flights!)
- Visit the Tyrolean Bee World (ca. 2 km)
- Take excursions: Display mines in Jochberg, Wildschönau or Schwaz, Zoo in Aurach, Hexenwasser in Söll, Swarovski Kristallwelten, National Park Hohe Tauern, National Park Berchtesgaden
- Enjoy the Tyrolean cuisine (several Cafés and Restaurants close-by)
- Stroll, shop and enjoy the nightlife in nearby Kitzbühel (approx. 15 km) or Ellmau (4 km)
- Take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage or sleigh
- Visit Jägerstüberl gay bar in the Bavarian city of Rosenheim (approx. 40 min)
- 9-pin Bowling at the Waldhof(0.5 km)
